Komondor Rescue: Rosa from Nashville, TN

Braefiddich has our newest rescue Komondor at home.

Meet Rosa! She is a lovely, very affectionate young lady. She took a moment or two to jump out of her crate and meet the “house pack” that came out to greet her. However, after a few minutes of meet & greet, she was tail wagging and offering to play Rosa has settled in quickly and is a very happy girl..

Rosa was initially rescued by Sara Flemlee of the Nashville, Tennessee area. Sara is active in Pry rescue and had gone to Animal Control to pick up a new dog when the personnel asked if she could take a Kom as well. Although Sara didn’t really know what she was going to do with Rosa, she took her!

Sara was not only kind enough to rescue Rosa, she took her to the Spay/Neuter clinic she runs for spaying, vaccinations, and general health care. Without her assistance, there was no way we could have even gotten her transported.

Thank you to Andrew Tomasko, Road Home Pet Transport, for bringing Rosa to us and taking such good care of her. Thank you to Ruth Keller and MASKC for picking up the transportation costs.

The first photo is Rosa at Animal Control. The second and third were taken at the Clinic. The fourth is her second day at Braefiddich.
