The Komondor in the United States 1937-1976 by Joy C. Levy
$5.00
This 44 page booklet contains all the past A.K.C. Standards for
the Komondor as well as the 1966 Hungarian Standard which was used
throughout Europe. There is material on the history, coat, size and
temperament of the breed.
It is illustrated with 21 photographs of the dogs that placed in the
Working Group or obtained advanced obedience titles during the first 40
years that the Komondor was recognized by the American Kennel Club. Full
lists of Champions and Obedience titles are included, as are pedigrees
and figures on Group Placements.
This was the first publication in English on the breed since 1966,
and is still one of the very few devoted to the Komondor.
This was Middle Atlantic States Komondor Club Inc.'s first
publication, and it was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Dog
Writer's Association of America. (Copy of the new Komondor Standard will
be enclosed)
